It was quite hard to get in to at first because it was talking about the family matters and what went on and how they got the boat. But after they started their trip and especially when they are on the island I couldn’t put the book down because so much happens.
Who are the main characters?
It was about a boy called Michael (I wonder why he chose that name), his family and Kensuke’s.
What’s the storyline?
They bought a boat called the Peggy Sue and they go sailing around the world. Michael gets knocked off the boat and so does his dog Stella Ratios. He goes to this island which is empty apart from one man who can’t speak but they end up writing in the sand to communicate.
How’s it written?
It was written in a diary sort of style and Michael was telling the story.

this book was not to good ,i like the author and this book let him down a lot!
The book was alright but some of the chapters were a bit boring, especially some of the chapters at the beginning.

I read kensukes kingdom about three months ago and i thought it a good book to read and it had a good plot. It is worth reading.

It wasnt too bad some bits bored me but a good plot and will read again sometime.
